Synopsis:

Jiri Kajinek has nothing to lose. He has been given a life sentence for a double murder. His young lawyer, ignoring his lack of trust in her, attempts tirelessly to help and renew the court process. She has to secure new evidence and, at the same time, repel pressure from the police, deal with arrogance of the court and witnesses living in fear. She soon finds out that it is dangerous to ask questions. Nonetheless, she is attracted by Kajinek's case. What is her motive?
